Create a sale or coupon code

Set a discount, choose eligible products and check when customers can use it.

Choose the right discount

A sale applies to the eligible products you choose. A coupon gives customers a code to enter at checkout.

Create a sale

  1. Open Discounts → Sales and add a sale.

  2. Enter a name and set the discount.

  3. Choose whether it applies across the store or to selected products or categories.

  4. Add exclusions if needed, choose the schedule and save.

Create a coupon

  1. Open Discounts → Coupons and add a coupon.

  2. Set the code and discount.

  3. Review the available minimum-spend, usage and eligibility settings.

  4. Choose the schedule, save and make sure the coupon is active.

When choosing products or categories, use the selection screen to search and select items. Save that selection, then save the discount itself.

If a discount does not apply

Check that it is active, within its schedule, and applies to the products in the cart. Review exclusions, minimum spend and any usage limits. Check the actual checkout total instead of assuming multiple offers will add together.

Sales and coupons have separate plan allowances. Check Settings → Plan usage if you cannot add another one.
